Pioneering “The Daniel Plan” and Health Journaling, a way of reflecting on lifestyle, motivation and behaviour. Trained in Motivational Interviewing, Lay Counselling and Community Health Education. Qualified as a Certified Banting Coach 2016.
Qualified educator with over 30 years experience in various areas and levels of education.
Research/ Project Evaluation
Presented workshops at local and international conferences. Leader of two large national (South African) research projects. Also involved in a number of smaller projects.
Own Blog and Web site (see thegoodway.org). Founder ‘PretNet’ (Pretoria Education Network). Currently an active member of a local Toastmasters International club.

Pioneered Computer Literacy and Computer Networking in SA in the 1990s. Managed a computer skills training project in Mamelodi. Managed my own business and various projects including leading a National Research Project while at HSRC.

Diabetic Retinal Eye Screener/Grader for NHS (UK’s National Health Service). (This involves taking photographs of the retina of the eye of Diabetics).
In the UK (teaching ICT for 3 years) then as a professional photographer.
